Understanding Understanding
Sound is something that most experience every day, but do people really know how it works? How is it that sound travels and why can we hear it? In this project, I worked with group members to explore and document about people's conceptions on how sound works. Through such, we discovered there were many common misconceptions surrounding sound. Why do these misconceptions exist? From where do these misconceptions of sound derive? This project uses humor/satire, along with advanced video editing technologies and website design to present field research. It also showcases deep understanding that misconceptions are a part of everyone's learning process.
